Radio Presenter Billy Miya has also criticized the government for the late announcement terming it a high level of confusion and a reckless approach.
“This level of confusion is not healthy for parents, learners, teachers, and even schools. Such an important statement or directive should have been released a week earlier, not at the dead of the night when everyone is a sleep, ready for reopening of schools. This poor communication system paints to a bigger problem in the MoE/government. This is indeed a very reckless approach to handling a crisis. Many learners are already on transit to schools.”
