Digital Content creator Abel Mutua has said Njugush made a big financial mistake in investing in the matatu business. Reacting to Njugush’s new brand matatu, Mutua said if he were Njugush, he could have ventured into something else like opening a butchery.
Known by the moniker Mkurugenzi, he made his humorous criticisms after he discovered Njugush never printed his picture and put it in the matatu.
Speaking to a digital journalist, Mutua added that if Njugush could have printed his picture and put it at the back of the 33-seater matatu, his business could have gained precious momentum on the road.

“Hii ma3 iko chini. Inafaa ufanye vitu zinabamba matatu yako. Unanunuaje ma3 na Haina picha ya Mkurugenzi? Mkurugenzi sahisi is the talk of the town. Hujuma!” Mutua criticised.
The digital content creator went ahead and disclosed that there is a matatu Sacco in the city that has printed his picture in nearly all the 15 matatus and the business is doing well.
According to him, the Sacco has one matatu that is filled with his images and following that, the matatu never rests. It’s always busy on the road because of his popularity.

The matatu had the images of Phil Director, Judy Nyawira (wife to Abel) and Eddie Butita apart from Mutua. Following that, he added that for great branding and marketing, his name could have been featured at the back of the matatu to attract many customers.
“Unawekaje picha ya avocado? Hapa ametupa doh. Afadhali hata tungefungua butchery tuuze ng’ombe. Watu wa matatu tunawajua.
“Mimi ningekuwa yeye ningeuzia msee hii gari… But Siri ya urembo ni moja, ukiniweka picha yangu pale nyuma kutoka juu mpaka chini, hii ma3 haitawahi simama.” He added.

Njugush in his response, alleged the only people he made them feature on the Matatu were those who took part in playing key roles to ensure the matatu was bought.
“Everyone of those people wame-contribute… Mtu hajachorwa juu hajachangia ni Abel in one way or the other.” Njugush said.
