Student Bold Request To President Ruto, Lands Her Internship At State House
A Nyeri National Polytechnic student became the center of attention during President William Ruto’s public Speech in Nyeri. The student’s audacious request for employment at the State House not only captured the President’s attention but also won him a coveted internship opportunity.

“I know in state house we have a hospitality department. It will be my pleasure if you would recognise me at least I work in state house, as I do hospitality; catering and accommodation,” she aired her plea
President Ruto, taken aback by the boldness of the request, responded with a warm smile and offered the student an internship position instead.

“What we are going to. I will need to look at your performance, you have to be good. Maybe what we will do first is give you a chance to work as an intern then we can assess you properly. And I am confident that coming from Nyeri Polytechnic I think you will do well. So the fellows from my office will take note,”President Ruto replied
