“Sijawahi Kuitwa Interview”: Unlucky Moi University Graduate Turns To Public For Help, Parades Certificates Online

A Moi University graduate is appealing to the public to help him secure a job. After parading his academic certificates online, Peter Godana, a 2019 graduate in an exclusive with Mideyah Digital Media, has said luck has never knocked at his door since he graduated from Campus.

Born in Gongoni Magarini, Kilifi County, Godana said since his graduation, he has only won one media interview which was in 2021 and the job ended prematurely before figuring things out.

“Nimekuwa nikitafuta nikituma makaratasi, natuma jumbe lakini sijawahi kuitwa kwa interview tangu 2021 kando na ile ya media.” Godana told Mideyah Digital Media.

He added living a life of hand to mouth, the sad death of his father in 2021 brought everything to a standstill because his mother is jobless and has school-going siblings to cater for their needs and school fees.

“Kwa sasa nafanya biashara ya Cyber lakini mapato ni ya kiwango cha chini na pia niko na ndugu zangu wawili kwenye chuo kikuu na dada zangu wawili Secondary sasa imekuwa changamoto na mzee aliaga 2021 na yeye ndiye aliyekuwa tegemeo kubwa.” He added.

Following the economic challenges, he’s going through, the varsity graduate is appealing to the public to help him secure a job as he continues to shoot his shots in job hunting.

“Bado ninatuma applications na hakuna kazi ambayo sijatuma applications hadi hizi za cadet na KWS. Kila ajira lazma nijaribu.

“Ninachosihi ni ya kuwa iwapo kutakuwa na mhisani yeyote yule ambaye atakuwa na nafasi ya kazi au anamfahamu yeyote aliye na nafasi hiyo anifahamishe.” He appealed.

Peter Godana holds a bachelor’s degree in BA Kiswahili awarded in 2019 from Moi University. Currently, he is at home in Gongoni Magarini, Kilifi County.
