Khaligraph Jones Calls Out Masauti For Failing To Promote His Music
Renowned Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones has openly criticized fellow musician Masauti, calling him a ‘lazy artist’ for failing to promote his music.
Khaligraph pointed out that while Masauti is undeniably talented, his failure to actively market his work is holding him back from greater success.
In an interview with the Mic Cheque Podcast, the talented rapper expressed frustration over Masauti’s lack of consistency in releasing and promoting his songs.

“About Masauti and being a lazy artist, talent on another level. Masauti acha ujinga, unafanya nini na hio talent…how often does he release? How many times does he post on Instagram? Masauti will release a song and put one post on Instagram. You have to post about it everytime. If you are not pushing your music, sisi hatuna hio favour ya bro,” he stated.
The Tuma Kitu hitmaker also noted that Masauti’s habit of releasing a song and making only a single post about it on Instagram is not enough, urging him to market his songs more actively.
“You have to put money and promote your music and put Instagram post everytime. Wewe unatoa ngoma umerelax, post everyday. Unaweka post moja mbili halafu unarelax halafu unaanza kusema watu hawa-appreciate ngoma noma, ni wewe hujiapreciate,” he said.
