Kisii University Student Hangs Himself After Girlfriend Allegedly Cheated On Him
Simon's remains have been transferred to the morgue pending an autopsy examination.
In a tragic turn of events, a vibrant third-year student from Kisii University reportedly ended his life due to a souring love affair. The young man identified only as Simon, took the drastic step upon discovering his partner’s alleged infidelity.
The distressing incident unfolded when Simon’s lifeless body was discovered on Tuesday, suspended from a nylon rope fastened to the ceiling of his rented accommodation in the Gekomu area, just a stone’s throw away from the University.
Police, upon breaking into the locked premises, found no signs of struggle apart from the fatal ligature marks around Simon’s neck.

According to his peers, Simon had been grappling with the emotional turmoil of an unfaithful relationship, which ultimately led to his untimely demise.
While initial reports point towards romantic entanglements as the motive behind the tragic act, authorities are conducting further investigations to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident. Simon’s remains have been transferred to the morgue pending an autopsy examination.
