Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya has finally introduced his son to the public, capturing the attention of many Kenyans with his humorous and heartfelt remarks.
Salasya affirmed that he doesn’t need a DNA test, stating that the baby resembled him; particularly pointing out the nose as a striking resemblance.
Taking to social media, the lawmaker shared a stunning video of his four-month-old baby boy, proudly confirming his paternity.

“Mapuaya huyu mtoto ni ya Waluhya. Inafaa sasa mama ya mtoto amulete home wamunyoe nywele as per the culture. Ni mweupe kama mimi huyu. Aki huyu ata DNA sitaki. Nimekubali, he is turning about four months,” he stated.
The MP also revealed how he met the mother of the boy, saying they first encountered each other during the Gen Z protests.
“Nilipatana na mamake wakati wa Gen Z protests,” he hilariously stated while sharing a glimpse of his son.
