Senior DCI Officer Felix Kitosi’s family is grieving and seeking justice following his death under murky circumstances. Allegations suggest that Kitosi was assaulted by DJ Joe Mfalme and several police officers.
The incident reportedly unfolded after Kitosi collided with DJ Joe Mfalme’s car at a nightclub in Kiambu. This resulted in an altercation, during which bouncers forcefully removed Kitosi from his vehicle and assaulted him before taking him to Kikuyu Police Station.
While in custody, Kitosi allegedly pleaded for help and informed officers of his worsening condition. Despite his requests, he did not receive timely assistance. Eventually, he was released on Saturday morning and sought medical attention due to severe abdominal pain and urinary complications.

Kitosi was admitted to Nairobi West Hospital, where medical intervention, including catheterization, was performed. However, his health continued to deteriorate, and he passed away on Thursday afternoon.
The family is now calling for a thorough investigation into Kitosi’s death and demanding justice for the alleged assault.
