Aldrine Kibet Reveals His Dream Club Despite Being Hunted By Real Madrid
Kenya’s U-18 and Harambee Stars prospect Aldrine Kibet has opened up about his admiration playing for one of the La Liga giants after his move to Nastic Soccer Academy in Spain. Kibet whose excellent footballing skills were spotted during 2023 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Games in the national level held in Kakamega County in August.
Aldrine Kibet who was representing St. Antony Boys Kitale commonly known as Solidarity Boys where he helped his school team to national Championship as they beat Nairobi based school Dagoretti High in the Finals. In the tournament Kibet was named the Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performances during the national games where he also finished as top scorer.

Due to his performances, he got attention of different sports personalities where he was scouted by football agents from Spain alongside fellow Kenyans Amos Wanjala and Alvin Kasavuli where they secured a move to Nastic Academy in Tarragona, Spain.

The 17-year-old midfielder led the U-18 Junior Stars during CECAFA U18 Championships held in the country in Kakamega and Kisumu counties. However, they suffered a 2-1 defeat in the Finals under the hands of Uganda who came from 1-0 behind to win the game. Despite losing the Finals Kibet finished as the top scorer in the tournament after scoring 3 goals.
Since then, his star has kept on shining each and every report suggests that since Kibet moved to Spain’s Nastic Soccer Academy, he has been tracked by Spanish giants Real Madrid. In an interview with Citizen TV, Kibet revealed that his dream club has been playing for Barcelona, and he will keep on working hard until he realizes his dream. “Barcelona has always been my dream since I was young. I look up to them, they play good football, Guardiola football, tiki-taka. I aspire to play for Barcelona,” “My dream is not to watch Barcelona, I have to go and play with them.”
