Home » Woman Laments Husband Not Getting Her Anything For Valentine

When many were receiving chocolates and flowers, a woman has taken to social media complaining how his husband took her joke seriously and never bought her anything on Valentine’s Day.

A woman on mumsnet say, she told her husband not to get her flowers on Valentine’s Day because they’re expensive but the legend generalized the opinion and never bought her anything even flowers.

“I said don’t buy me flowers for Valentine’s Day as they’re an expensive rip- off. He took this to mean don’t buy anything.

I’m really not fussed. We’ve been together for years but I do think it’s odd. A bottle of wine or some choco hearts, cheap perfume really? He can’t?” the woman fumed.

The woman’s complain has caused mixed reaction  on the comment section as some claim, the man really adhered to Men Conference pieces of advices delivered by the speakers.

Others have been crazy saying whoever has a man will try to understand a woman will die early. They claim even if there could be a school or a course to study about women, none could pass it even the woman herself.

But in deed, what if the guy could have brought the flowers or chocolates and the lady prefer it could have been sugar or a dress?

In response to the UK based woman by the name Collet, diverse opinion have been raised concerning the issue as singletons make it a laughing stock moment in celebration of their lives of sleeping and waking up like a cold panga.

Beth Robinson: Valentine’s Day is just a money making scam. Why does someone need one day to show how much they love someone, when everyday should be a blessing, the love the kisses, the cuddles the memories! If you can only do it on valentines then you are with the wrong person.

Steven Gaffney: From a male point of view, we don’t understand what you are asking/want, so we choose not to do/buy anything, so we haven’t wasted time or money on the wrong things 👍

Charlene Apsitis: My husband hardly buys me anything for Valentines Day because it’s way too expensive. We have just had a nice dinner at home with our favourite drinks. Just being kind & loving toward each other on a daily basis, is enough for me. ❤

Jill Cooper: I don’t understand why people yearn for elaborate gestures on Valentines Day and neither do I understand why some people are so blooming miserable.

It’s our 31st St Valentines Day together, we’ve never done elaborate but always mark the day modestly and as we started, happily united and grateful to and for each other.💞✊💞

Derek Collins: My wife said get me anything for Valentines Day so I bought her an ironing board. She hasn’t spoken to me since. Sometimes I don’t understand women at all. 😂
