Real Madrid Thrash AL Hilal To Win Club World Cup Trophy

Real Madrid are the champion of this year’s Club World Cup after edging out Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal 5-3 in the final in Rabat, Morocco.
Spanish Football giants have now won the cup a record fifth time.
Vinicius Junior and Federico valverde each scored a brace while Karim Benzema scored I goal for the European champions in Saturday’s final.
Real Madrid last won the tournament in 2018. It also lifted the trophy in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
“Vinicius has been improving since last season just as the team has also grown. We won the Champions League and now the world title, and Vinicius has grown along the way. We are thrilled with what he is doing, above all because he keeps getting better. He is much more decisive now and is making the difference in every match’’. Said Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Having also won three Intercontinental Cup trophies, a predecessor to the Club World Cup that pitched the European and South American champions against each other, Real Madrid have a combined total of eight global titles. The next most successful sides are AC Milan and Bayern Munich with four titles each in the two competitions.
“We are very happy. For the eighth time Real Madrid is world champion. We made a good game, with a lot of quality up front. Vinícius, Benzema, Valverde. they have done very well. They showed skills and quality. It was great.” said manager Carlo Anchelloti
In the Third Playoff, Flamengo came from behind to beat 10-man Al Ahly 4-2.
