Boda Boda Rider Hits Toyota Land Cruiser, Offers Ksh 340 For Repair
A humble Ugandan boda boda rider offered to compensate a Toyota Land Cruiser driver Ksh 340 to repair the scratches he inflicted on his vehicle. He offered the cash after ramming on his car unexpectedly.
The boda boda rider parted with all his savings stepping up and taking responsibility for his failed overtaking that led to accident.
According to Daily Monitor, the incident occurred in the streets of Kampala sparking reactions among netizens who opined that the driver of the luxurious vehicle should have pardoned the courteous man while others said that it should be a learning moment.

“A boda boda rider gives the driver of a Toyota Land Cruiser Shs 10,000 to go and repair scratches he inflicted on his vehicle along Jinja Road . The driver asked the rider to follow him to the mechanic and pay for the repairs.”
Daily Monitor said that John, the boda boda rider was attempting to overtake the Prado when he lost control and rammed into the car’s side. The collision had minor scratches on the Prado.John dismounted his bike and calmly approached the driver offering his apologies and extending his money to cover for the damages caused by the collision.

The Prado driver declined the boda boda rider’s offer and instead requested him to accompany to the mechanic and settle the damages there instead of offering the Ksh 340.
