Kenyan singer Jacob Otieno Obunga popularly known as Otile Brown has broken his silence on why he’s yet to marry and how he lost his first child.
On his Instagram Live, Otile who is known to be an introvert and a person who rarely shares about his family and relationship status said he could be now a father of one but his girlfriend miscarried.
Otile said after he parted ways with Nabayeto an Ethiopia girlfriend, he went ahead and dated a South African girl whom the two were set to get married before fate took a toll on their love.

He said when he was dating the South African girl, the girl got pregnant but unluckily, she miscarried before he could touch the first fruit of his existence.
“Huyo mtoto angekuwa mtoto wangu wa kwanza.” The singer broke his silence for the first time since his girlfriend miscarried.
In 2023, the Imaginary Love hitmaker shared a post on his Instagram, narrating how the year was bad following the thrush of his dream.

“Our baby didn’t make it. I guess it’s not my year.” He said shortly after his South African girlfriend had a miscarriage.
The girlfriend whom he never introduced to the public, Otile said she was a diplomat from a prominent family and never loved the social media lifestyle.
Following the recent troll by KRG The Don about the “International Artiste” topic where KRG went ahead and accused him of being unmarried without a child, Otile said he wishes to have a family but the pain he has gone through since his younger age is the one that makes him yet to marry.

“Nikianza familia, nataka iwe imesimama kwa sababu nililelewa kwa familia ambayo ilikuwa imevurugika na hiyo ndiyo sababu nina uoaga wa ndoa.
“Baba alioa wanawake wengi na nimekulia kwa shida nyingi sana but I’ve been working on myself,” Otile revealed what bars him from getting married.
However, he wishes to settle down with one woman and get committed to a monogamous marriage far from what he was born.
