Kelvin Kiptum’s Family Visits Ababu Namwamba At His Office
Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba had a meeting with Kelvin Kiptum’s family at his office in Nairobi. The Ministry of Sports is planning to honor Kelvin Kiptum by inducting him into the Talanta Hall of Fame.
Kelvin Kiptum’s wife, children, and father attended the meeting where they were received warmly by the CS. The family and Kenyans at large have been sad because Kelvin, a talented athlete, died in a car crash a few weeks ago.
Kelvin was very good at sports and won many competitions internationally. He even held the world record for the marathon by the time he passed away.

Ababu Namwamba has arranged a special event to celebrate Kelvin’s achievements. Kelvin’s family will receive an award to honour him.
“Cs Ababu Namwamba is currently having a brief with the families of the late Kelvin Kiptum & his coach’s Hakizimana Gervais in his office, ahead of the record holder’s induction to the Talanta Hall of Fame,” Ministry of Sports announced
People think he was one of the best athletes in the country of which he was. Kelvin’s passing left a huge dent in the sports industry and Kenyans will always remember him.The government is helping Kelvin’s family financially, physically and emotionally. During his funeral, they built a new house for them. They also promised to help with the education of Kelvin’s two children.

Kelvin Kiptum accomplished a lot during his career. Many young people in the country look up to him as a role model. May Kelvin’s soul continue resting in peace.
