Mali Safi Chito hitmaker has gained over a million views on her YouTube channel after experiencing one week of drama on social media.Real name Milicent Jepkorir, the singer took to her social media expressing her gratitude to God and fans for helping her get more viewers and subscribers on her channel.

According to her social media screengrab, Mali Safi Chito’s song had around 6 million YouTube views and approximately 113,000 subscribers but after having an online altercation with a DJ, she gained more visibility from fans by getting 3000 more subscribers and 1.1M viewers.

“Ni God I gained 1.1M views and 3000 more subscribers on YouTube over the past 1 week be blessed my fans” the singer shared the information on her social media accounts.

Now, Mali Safi’s song has 7.9 million views and 119,000 subscribers. That reveals people never unsubscribed to her channel as they claimed but rather went  to increase the subscription and views on the channel.The online one-week drama started after one DJ used her song without seeking permission for from her. That sparked online controversies where the DJ’s YouTube channel was reported over copyright issues.

That, not only ended there but a swarm of human-like creatures on social media took another step by reigning critiques at her for reporting the DJ over the use of her song without her permission.

Following the social media troll brought about by her altercation with the DJ, the singer went out of her mind and insulted critiques through her TikTok account making many advocate for unsubscription from her YouTube channel.However, the MCSK boss Dr Ezekiel Mutua spoke in her defence by alleging the singer was right to complain over DJ Brobox’s move.
