Louis Otieno Denies Ever Receiving KSh 1 Million Monthly Salary At Citizen TV
Legendary news anchor Louis Otieno has vehemently denied claims that he used to earn a monthly salary of KSh 1 million during his stint at Citizen TV.
The decorated media personality admitted the pay was not bad but was not near the KSh 1 million mark.
Louis, who made the revelation during an interview with LNN disclosed that the story about his alleged KSh 1 million salary at Citizen TV was created to paint him in bad light.

According to the veteran news anchor, many people tried to drag his name into the mad with countless fake stories, especially after being implicated in a murder case.
“Not even near, I was not earning that much,” Louis said when asked to confirm if he was the highest-paid journalist at Citizen TV.
”But did I bring in more than that? All the time.” He added.
The journalist went on to clear the air over allegations that he used to get fired from different media houses.

He reiterated that no TV station fired him, only that he used to get poached by bigger and better entities.
According to Louis, he did not switch stations because of greed for money but to quench his hunger for opportunities that would catapult him even higher.
It should be noted that Louis Otieno has worked at some of Kenya’s top TV stations such as KTN, NTV, Citizen TV, KBC, and Look Up TV among others.
