“Too much ado about nothing on Mali Safi Chito. Leave the girl alone. She is living her moments of fame. Don’t rain on her parade!
“She might have spoken out of turn and she may even sound arrogant and conceited. But she needs guidance and support, not condemnation and malicious attacks or criticism.” Dr. Ezekiel Mutua said.
According to Ezekiel Mutua, social media users shouldn’t troll her but rather support her as an emerging artist making a living through her talent. He alleges social media backlash may drain her mentally to the extent of giving up on her talent.
About her indifference to the DJ where the Disk Jokey used her music on his social handles without her order, Mutua has said the singer has the right to decide who and when one can use her song.
“Even on the issue of her asking the DJ to pull down the content with adaptations of her song, she was right. She has a right to determine how her content is to be used.
“No one should use her music without authorisation. The assertion that they were promoting her is neither here nor there. Let the girl be!” he defended.
The MCSK boss went on and advised the Marakwet Daughter to: ” Humble yourself and take care of your brand. Don’t let criticism distract you. You will never get to your destination if you keep engaging with critics. Take care of your brand.”
The singer was trolled in TikTok on 31st January 2024 by critiques where the troll made her record a video clip bashing them over their hate on her. Her response, however, was not received in peace but was followed by fires which have gone viral for nearly a week.
“You are used to using bad language in my comment section. Mumezoea sanaa kupupuu inbox yangu pale TikTok, pupuu sasa hapa. Nkt!” She fired her critiques.
