For the longest time now, school heads have been cracking their heads as they try to find ways to curb drug abuse in school.

 

There have been various formulas used by different school administrations to ensure students do not sneak drugs inside school compounds.

 

Well, despite the many measures put in place, some students were still able to sneak in drugs and other contraband.

However, 2024 has seen a different approach towards kicking drugs out of schools, especially secondary schools.

 

Nowadays, some schools employ the services of cops and sniffer dogs who carry out thorough inspections.

 

A video from a random Kenyan secondary school showing students lining up with their bags to get inspected recently sparked mixed reactions on social media.

 

Students stood separately from their luggage which was being sniffed by the police sniffer dog to ascertain if there were any illegal substances and contraband.

They could not help but congratulate the administrations for their fight against drug abuse in schools.

 

However, a section of netizens had varied opinions.

 

Many social media users noted that students will always be students and will still find ways to sneak drugs in schools.

 

Most noted that there have been such measures before but students still managed to get drugs into their schools.
