Mike Sonko, Governor Sakaja Finally Agree To Work Together

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko finally set foot at Nairobi City Hall office after four years in a grand peacemaking mission with the incumbent Johnson Sakaja. In a post shared by the duo, the only elected Nairobi Heads so far had a quality chit chat session which culminated into a news of hope for Nairobians.

 

As they report, the respected leaders were elated to finally see each other as they got a chance to hold talks  majorly centered on the county’s development.The duo also had a rare opportunity to engage in ‘peace talks’ and agreed to work together for the good of Nairobi Residents having not been seen together since Sakaja ascended on the seat.

While terming himself as a rebel leader, Mike Sonko announced their meeting to netizens saying;“Nairobi rebel leader and former governor HE Mike Mbuvi Sonko meets the current governor HE Johnson Sakaja in his office for peace talks and matters touching on development in our great county. We have agreed to work together for the betterment of the good people of Kanairo.”

 

Governor Sakaja on the other hand expressed his excitement meeting Sonko as he wrote; “With my brother Mike Sonko this afternoon at City Hall. We come a long way. Always great catching up”. On December 19, 2019, Mike Sonko was barred from gaining entry at City Hall, his then office following a court case on  fraudulent acquisition of public funds.

General Mohammed Badi would then be given an opportunity to lead Nairobi under the Nairobi Metropolitan Services before the now Governor Sakaja took over the seat.

 

Although what Sonko signed remains anonymous,his coming together with Sakaja now brings hope to Nairobi Residents who are craving for the city’s development.
