“Watu wangu, imagine sijalala poa coz of this pic which I saw of a young girl from siyiape primary school, Narok county with a torn dress circulating on social media.
” I need details of this school or her parents contacts I just want to buy her 5 sets of school uniforms, rubber shoes, official school shoes, her food and school shopping for at least 6months and clear any of her outstanding school fees” Sonko posted on his social media handles.
By the aid of celebrated cop Sammy Ngare Ondimu, the former governor has today paid Ksh 21,000 fees for Shirleen Saiton Sainipiri.

” Early this morning, I received a call from mhesh Mike Sonko asking about how he can assist and on giving him the full details and the fact that the school has boarding facilities, he took up the matter with no hesitation and has cleared one years’ boarding fee and promised to support her in her studies” says Mr Ondimu.
Before the coming in of Mike Sonko, Mr Ondimu had bought a new School uniform for the girl and as per Madam Joyce Malit’s contribution updates on Wednesday morning; Kenyans had contributed Ksh 7,000.
This has however made Mr Ondimu to appreciate the kind hearted Kenyans for coming out and ensure the education of the 8- year-old girl moves smoothly.

“Thanks everyone for the prayers, motivation, encouragement, financial support and good will, thanks mwalimu for the motherly love, words are not enough but the smile on the teachers’ n girls face is a true reflection of gratitude” appreciates Mr Ondimu.
Shirleen Saiton, 8 from Narok County; comes from a nomadic family where her parents’ source of income lies on hand to mouth.
The distance from her parents to school being far, the parents took her to her grandmother – 3km away from Siyiapei Primary where she schools.

Boarding school will protect the grade 2 girl from walking through dangerous lands with wild animals to school.
