“When I first came to Nairobi, I thought people embraced friendship like in the village and had genuine friendship. Later, I discovered there’s no friendship in Nairobi.” Mejja shared.
“For one to keep you as a friend, they must know what you have to offer. Do you have something? If you don’t have anything to offer, you’ll be dropped because it was like you were not making sense,” he added.
Mejja explained that after he learned about the type of friendship that exists in Nairobi, he started to embrace a solo life and a love for alcohol. The singer said genuine friendship comes from his biological mother.

All of a sudden, msee hayupo. Kila kitu kulikuwa lazma nipitie process na maneno ya family pia.” He revealed as he shared plans of doing more music in 2025.
