Girl With 382 Marks Plucking Tea After Lacking Money To Join Form One
A little bright girl risks not seeing her dream come true due to financial constraints.
According to information gathered by Mideyah Digital so far, the girl identified as Davine Chepchumba, hails from Chepkumia Ward Emgwen constituency in Nandi County.
She lives in a slum in their region together with her parents depicting their humble background.

However, despite the situation, the determined and clever Davine scored 382 marks in her KCPE, and was called to join Kapsowar Girls.
Money proved as a major challenge to her parents and therefore as at now, she is plucking tea in a plantation hoping that she will raise money to join Form one.
One of her Primary teachers, Mwalimu Baxtone, took to Social Media to confirm the heartbreaking fix Davine is in.

He notes the school trying to get scholarships from various banks and institutions but in vain.
“We did everything we could upto this point.We applied for scholarships,in vain. Infact she came 2nd on KCB.Hakuna kitu hatukufanya,” he states.
He now pleads with any well-wisher to come to Davine’s rescue insisting that she deserves an opportunity to continue schooling.
“The family is very needy.Someone to kindly assist. The girl deserves assistance.Very disciplined and hardworking,” he added
