Employees at Luweero Town Council who reported very early in the morning for work were left speechless and shocked after they found two dead bodies dumped at the office premises.
The incident happened on Tuesday morning when the rotting bodies which were wrapped in two big body bags were discovered at the doorstep.
It was later discovered that they were discarded by mortuary attendants as form of strike over nonpayment.

One of the mortuary attendants revealed to journalists that they hadn’t been paid for three quarters and had lost hope of recovering their money yet they had family bills to pay. They used the dead bodies to get the attention of the authorities.
The Luweero deputy mayor Lumu Richard was able to convince the workers on strike to remove the dead bodies, promising to clear their arrears. The bodies were then taken to Kalongo cemetery for burial.
Having got the news, Richard Ntulume Bwabye, the district RDC called upon police to launch an investigation against the culprits behind the act, saying it was a criminal offense to dump the bodies of the dead as it was disturbing the peace of the dead.
