Burna Boy rarely performs in the African continent since his concerts are always costly. His Kenya concern in January was the first concert he performed in 2025 and since then, he has yet to perform in any African country.

In Burkina Faso, President Ibrahim Traore has amassed huge trust from many people across the African continent for his advocacy for quality education, a well-developed agricultural sector and an enhanced health sector.

Recently, he cut ties with the French colonies and emphasised internal utilisation of minerals to improve Burkina Faso’s economy.

His initiative was not well received by the French colony, and moments later, it was alleged that some people in the military had been lured with money to kill him.

However, the plan was unveiled prematurely, and several people were arrested and put behind bars. Additionally,  a section of the Burkinabe people started sleeping on the streets to protect President Traore from external attacks.
