Gidi, Mulee Send Condolences to Massawe Japanni after Dad’s Death

Jacob Ghost Mulee and his co-host Gidi Ogidi have revealed that Massawe Japanni has lost her dad, Mzee Massawe.
During their breakfast show, they consoled their colleague Massawe Japanni after the loss and prayed for her comfort.
Mulee revealed that Massawe Japanni’s dad collapsed and died, and will be buried on Tuesday, 20th May, 2025, at 4 PM in Mombasa, following the Islamic doctrines.

He also notified fans that she would be off the radio for a while during the grieving period. However, he requested fans to pray for her family as they mourn the death of Mzee Massawe.
“MJ hatakuwa leo na ninafikiri atakosa kwa siku nyingi kwa sababu amempoteza babake. Ninaambiwa babake ali-collapse na akapoteza maisha yake kwa hivyo pole sana kwa MJ ambaye anaelekea Mombasa kwa sababu babake ni Muislam, atakuwa akizikwa leo mwendo wa saa kumi. Kwa hivyo, hiyo ndiyo habari ambayo tumeipata ya tanzia.” Mulee shared.
Mulee also recounted recently when Massawe Japanni visited her dad in Mombasa and shared jolly pictures on social media celebrating him. He said Mzee Massawe was full of joy and energy as he bonded with her daughter.

“MJ nilikuwa nikimwangalia alikuwa Mombasa juzi juzi, akiwa na babake na nimeona Tina Masika pia anasafiri kwenda katika hayo mazishi kwa hivyo nawaombea safari njema.” Ghost Mulee added.
Gidi Ogidi shared his condolences on his Facebook page and grieved with Massawe Japanni following the sudden death. In the mid-morning show, Valentine Ludiema took over as the lead host during Massawe’s grieving season.
