Diamond Platnumz revealed that he's not a good vocalist/ courtesy.
Diamond Platnumz revealed that he’s a great songwriter but not a good vocalist. Speaking to journalists in Tanzania, the singer explained that most people don’t know he’s a great songwriter.
Diamond Platnumz explained that writing songs played a big role in his music career until he became an iconic artiste in the Bongo Flava entertainment industry.
Platnumz also revealed that he composed songs for most artists he had signed under his music label, and others who were not under his label.

“Nimeandika nyimbo za wasanii wengi wa Wasafi ambazo nyinyi hamjui. Wasanii wengi wakija pale ukiuliza nani kamwandikia mwengine nyimbo, atawaambia. Hata wasanii wengine si wa Wasafi.” Platnumz revealed.
He added that he helped other artists after he met them in the studio recording, and those who asked him for a music review.
“Siwezi nikafika studio nikapata wimbo wako kuna sehemu haupo sawa nikakuacha hivyo. Nitakusaidia na kwa ukisema ni sawa, usiposema, ni sawa.” He added.

However, Platnumz shared that he’s not a vocal artiste. He explained that he writes well behind the scenes and writes a variety of music genres including Hip-Hop, R&B and Amapiano.
“Miongoni mwa vitu ambavyo watu wengi hawavifahamu kunihusi, strength yangu imetokana na kuandika. Mimi si mwanamziki wa vocal. Mimi nikishika peni, ninaweza nikakuandikia nyimbo yoyote kama Bolingo, R&B, Kibao Kata, Hip-hop, Amapiano na kila miziki ninajua niuandike vipi.” He shared.
Further, he said that most artists he signs leave his label as superstars and are highly revered since his label is equated to a school of music.
