Man Nabbed For Fatally Stabbing Sex worker

Police in Matugga, Uganda have arrested a man accused of seeking the services of a sex worker in the area and stabbing her after a disagreement.
The suspect identified as Ssekyanzi Jackson, 23, a resident of Kibuye, Makindye in Kampala District allegedly approached Kabatoro Gorrete for sexual pleasure at around 7AM in King Wilberson Club located in Kiryagonga village. A quarrel is said to have ensued between the two in their hotel room, prompting Jackson to fatally stab Gorrete.
Responders rushed to the scene and found Gorrete covered in a pool of blood and pursued the suspect who tried to flee the area. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Onyango Patrick confirmed Ssekyanzi’s arrest and revealed that investigations into the matter were underway.
