FKF Launches FIFA Women Football Campaign.

On June 1, at the Kasarani Annex, the Football Kenya Federation inaugurated the Fifa FKF Women Football Campaign.

A lively two-day competition at Kasarani Annex, which brought together primary schools from all over Nairobi, served as the campaign’s official launch. The program included a variety of 5-a-side games intended to make the atmosphere pleasant and interesting for the kids.

The participants also had the priceless chance to engage with football ambassadors and legends who acted as mentors, kindling their passion and inspiring them to follow their ambitions of playing the game.

Speaking during the launch of the campaign, FKF president Nick Mwendwa said, “This campaign is a significant step towards empowering young girls and promoting women’s football in Kenya.”

“We understand that young girls face many challenges in their quest to pursue their dreams. That is why we have partnered with FIFA to create this campaign. ” He said.

The program will assist in building a foundation for the start of girls’ grassroots football leagues. The program’s primary audience will be primary school athletes and coaches.
