Miami Heat Advances To The NBA Finals

The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 103-84 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday and advanced to the NBA Finals.
Jimmy Butler of Miami was voted the Eastern Conference Finals MVP after posting series averages of 24.7 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists. Caleb Martin scored 26 points on the night. Bam Adebayo scored 12, pulled down 10 rebounds, and distributed 7 assists as they eliminated the Celtics.
For the Boston Celtics, Derrick White scored 18 points, while Jaylen Brown added 19 and eight rebounds for Boston, the second-seeded team. For the Celtics, Jayson Tatum finished with 14 points and 11 rebounds, although he struggled the whole game after twisting his left ankle during the opening play.
Speaking after the win, Jimmy Butler said he had belief in the guys.
“I have so much belief in myself, and with this group of guys, I know how good of a team we are, and we made it happen,” Butler said. “We stayed together as a team; we are excited and happy, but we have four more [wins] to do,” he said.
