The Denver Nuggets Eliminates The Suns
The Denver Nuggets advanced to the Western Conference finals after beating the Suns 125-100 in Game 6 on Friday morning.
For the Denver Nuggets, Caldwell-Pope scored 21 points in total. Jokic finished with 32 points on 13 of 18 field goal attempts, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds, while Jamal Murray scored 26 points in the game.
There wasn’t much of a response from the Suns. Phoenix’s Cameron Payne scored 31 points while making seven of his nine 3-point attempts. Kevin Durant added 23 points. However, Devin Booker, who has been outstanding for most of the postseason, scored just 12 points.
Speaking after the game, Kevin Durant was disappointed with the exit and admitted they needed to be better. “It sucked. It was a bad feeling. It was embarrassing. They came out and hit us in the mouth, and we couldn’t recover. You’ve got to give them credit for being a disciplined team.” He said.
The Denver Nuggets will either face the Lakers or the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals, three years after their last conference appearance in the NBA bubble back in 2020.
