Joash Onyango Set To Leave Simba SC

Kenyan International Joash Onyango may feature for Simba Next season in the after asking the team’s management to terminate his remaining contract so that he can venture football life outside of Simba

 

 

Onyango landed in Tanzania on August 14, 2020, after his successful stint with Kenyan record champions Gor Mahia , signing a two-year contract, where he served it with great success and was later extended by one year, which is expected to end next season.

 

 

He has since indicated it’s time to move after posting on his social platform saying his time is over.

Howevers Sources within ‘’Wekundu wa Msimbazi’’ indicate that the center half defender asked the club to terminate his contract after constant criticism given to him every time he makes a mistake on the field

 

 

“We may not have him next season because even the management were also looking for a reason to remove him from the team, so because he himself asked to leave when the season ends, the procedure will be done.” said the source.

 

 

The source said that they recognize the contribution of the player in Simba and believe that the game of football has many things, so they have to give him a chance to leave to remove the existing challenge of being burdened every time the team gets a bad result.

 

 

Multiple reports have linked Joash Onyango with a move to Singida Big Stars where its reported that the Tanzania side have offered  a 2-year contract with a sign-on fee equivalent to KES 7 million

 

 

The 30-year-old Former Western Stima Player will become the 3rd player to join Singida Big Stars from Simba SC after Meddie Kagere & Pascal Wawa in recent past.
