According to reports the 16 year old Girl was arrested by the cops after her parents asked them to do so as a punishment for sneaking out of their home to meet her boyfriend.

It further records that while in custody, the suspect went into the room where she was locked in and allegedly asked her to follow him to meet her mum who has ‘visited.’

Upon reaching, the other room the Officer is said to have asked her to undress and it’s when he defiled her severally using condoms.

According to the Kakamega county director of social services, children’s services, culture and gender Ms. Vivian Ayuma, the issue was likely to be forgotten since the officer has not been arrested yet. She further asked for the commencement of Investigations.

“This is a very sad matter that has been swept under the carpet. We are calling for a full investigation into this sad incident. We need this officer to be charged for inflicting such pain on the girl and ruining her life,” said Ms Ayuma.

However, according to the Senior Assistant Inspector General of Police, Mr John Gachomo, the issue was to be fully investigated and the errant officer would be prosecuted for the offence.
