Kenya Power Appoints Eng. Joseph Siror
Kenya Power and Lighting Company ( KPLC) has appointed Dr. Eng. Joseph Siror as the company’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, replacing Eng. Geoffrey Muli whose reign ended in 2022.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, 2nd May, 2023; the intelligentsia prior to his appointment, acted as the General Manager in charge of Technical Services at the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company ( KETRACO).

He comes in KPLC with vast experience in business tech industry with over 30 years experience and in them; holding a PhD in Engineering from Shanghai (China) majoring in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
” Dr. Siror brings in a wealth of experience, expertise, integrity and energy to the company.
“His time in the public sector as well as his training and knowledge; will help provide Kenya Power with a fresh start and build on the past success to develop an exciting new strategic direction for the company ” reads part of the statement wrote by chairperson, Joy Brenda Masinde.
Before his appointment, Eng. Muli and Eng. Rosemary Oduor served at the company in acting capacity since April, 2021 to May 2022.
