Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr Suffer Another Shocking Defeat
Al-Nassr suffered a shocking loss to Al-Wehda in the King Cup of Champions, leaving Cristiano Ronaldo furious at his teammates.
The hosts were predicted to easily advance to the final and set up a heavyweight match against Al-Hilal after defeating their opponents by a score of 4-0 just two months prior, a game in which Ronaldo scored all four goals. However, the newly promoted team had different plans, as they only needed one goal to go to the final and they went on to eliminate Ronaldo’s Nassr from the
cup in the semifinals.
Ronaldo, who had numerous chances, including a second-half free-kick that went over the bar, was furious with his teammates and the coaching staff after the game because he had missed several crucial opportunities, including one from close range and another that hit the crossbar.
Al-Wehda took the lead through Jean-David Beauguel, who took advantage of a defensive mixup to slot home and eventually knock out Al- Nassr and take his team to the final.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Al-Nassr has not been a good one, and since he joined the club, they have been knocked out of the Riyadh Super Cup, knocked out of the Saudi Super Cup, no longer 1st in the Saudi League, and eliminated from the Saudi King Cup.
