Man Collapses, Dies Outside A Lodge Following Numerous Marathons
Residents of Katoogo Zone, Bwaise in Central Kampala are mourning the death of one of their own that collapsed and died as he was stepping out of a lodge.
It is said that prior to his death, the deceased identified as Samson Omondi, a 48-year-old national, was ferrying different girls in and out of Kakima lodge to have some fun. Eyewitnesses claim that after his last sex marathon he stepped out of the lodge gasping for air and asking for water. As soon as fast responders gave him a sip of soda, he breathed his last.
Residents blamed the lodge attendants for failure to control Omondi’s action that they say may have caused his death.
“Lodge owners should be more responsible because it is their job to put an end to such things. This has happened because we do not know what exactly happened, but they do,” an eyewitness revealed.
Friends close to the deceased believed he died from diabetes going by the wounds on his body that indicates the use of insulin. The local council defense Abbey Mwanje encouraged all lodge owners to always register and fetch bio data from their clients for easy identification in cases of emergencies.
Police from Kawempe visited the scene and took the body to Mulago Hospital for postmortem and to determine the exact cause of death.
