Embarambamba’s Nataka Nikuingize Hit Raises Eyebrows
Abagusii gospel singer famously known as Embarambamba has left Kenyans in utter shock after releasing one hit dubbed Nataka Nikuingize.
In the hit song he claims to be gospel for the mentioning of Jesus, the dancing style and dress code in the video looks contradicting something social media users claim Embarambamba is joking with the maker.
Real name Christopher Mosioma, some shoots as he sings alongside Lydia Ndude, he has been featured half naked with bare chest and lower abdomen covered with a white towel.
Lydia Ndude a female singer in the video, she’s also seen in some shoots covered herself with a white like khanga resembling a towel as her shoulders and some body parts uncovered.
Additionally, the two; Embarambamba and Ndude what leaves viewers in doubt concerning the irony in the song; are singing near a bushy area.
This has raised a question of concern to the Bend This Way singer from fans and much, gospel lovers claiming Embarambamba is a disgrace to Kenya’s gospel industry.
Nataka Nikuingize loosely I want to put in, Chris Embarambamba along the way confuses listeners especially viewers by saying Nikuingize kwa Yesu.
The hit which is a talk in the street, has garnered more listeners and viewers after being released as it is noted way back, when he spoke in one local media outlet that he wanted to bring something different in Kenya’s music industry especially gospel.
“Yangu ni comedy ndani ya gospel. Unaguswa na injili huku ukifurahia na kuburudika” Embarambamba claimed.
On several occasion, the crazy singer has got himself in frenzy with the public regarding his video shoots and environment that he chooses to shoot his videos.
In one of his hit song, he was shot jumping on cows and running in maize plantation making some admit he may perhaps be a former night runner.
In most events, Embarambamba is invited to sing, he has developed the habit of running up and down, jumping on rooftops of houses, climbing trees and even carry women as he run in line to his music tune.
Now, the Nataka Nikuingize hit even though he has mentioned things to do with gospel, the artist remain to be criticized as he joins his fellow controversial singer Justina Syokau alias madam Twendy Twendy.
Justina at the onset of 2023, released a hit named Mwaka wa Kupanuliwa. However, the hit didn’t sit well on her fans as many claimed it wasn’t at any point close to gospel especially the song video.
More so, the hit took fans back to 2022 December where Syokau claimed to have gone for liposuction to enlarge her butts. After releasing her Mwaka wa Kupanuliwa hit, she came to social media and claimed to have changed her figure back to normal after going through a lot with her fake behinds.
Early February, human rights activist and also comedian; Eric Omondi called upon Kenyan gospel artists as killers of the industry and promoters of immorality.
The self acclaimed President of Comedy Eric Omondi disclosed more on the once lost glory of Kenya’s gospel industry that later was defamed by the now dubbed old gospel artists.
In his mention, he described Ringtone Apoko as a person who loves skirts and Willy Paul, an artist who fancy preying on campus girls.
