Kakamega MCA Stabbed To Death
Kakamega County Assembly Member Stephen Maloba has been stabbed to death after a confrontation with a local Mp during a public gathering.
Speaking during a Thanksgiving Service organised by President William Ruto’s Aide Farouk Kibet in Malava Kakamega County, Deputy Governer Ayub Savula said that the deceased was Killed due to Political differences.
“We would like to stay here longer, but we can’t. Apologies for that. An MCA has just passed away in Khwisero Constituency. He was stabbed after a confrontation ensued between two camps.” Savula Said
On the other side Bony Khalwale who was too attending the event asked for a leave to go and calm the area Residents to avoid more chaos.
“They have killed him. I am going to console them and not to cause more chaos,” Khalwale added.
The Kisa East MCA Stephen Maloba was elected on a Kanu ticket in the 2022 General Elections.
The Authorities are yet to give a detailed report on the death.
