Saudi Arabia And UAE Oil Firms Win Tenders To Supply Kenya With Fuel

Kenya has reached a deal with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to supply diesel and super  petrol for the next six months. This is according with Energy Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir who also reveals that Abu Dhabi National Oil Company  has won the tender of  delivering three cargoes of super petrol every month.

 

 

The deal was sealed on Friday following an earlier government floated tender seeking bids for the supply of diesel and super petrol products.

 

 

According to CS Davis Chirchir the deal will ease the pressure on the Kenyan government, which has been facing a shortage of oil products due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

 

The tender had attracted more than seven bids from different Oil firms
