Radio 47 Online Impersonators Warned
Newly established radio set to be launched on Monday; Radio 47 under its management has issued a stern warning and whereabouts of social media pages and accounts masquerading as Radio 47 to be avoided.
In a statement released on 11th March 2023, Cape Media Management Team has said there are accounts and pages impersonating and using Radio 47’s copyrighted materials.
” It has come to our attention that there are unsavoury people on social media who are operating fake pages and accounts masquerading as the official channels of Radio 47.
“While the fake pages and all accounts have been reported to the relevant authorities for action, we would like to urge our listeners to exercise caution in dealing with these strangers online” says Cape Media Management Team.
Radio 47, brother to Tv 47 owned by Cape Media was recently established and has amassed a huge number of listeners in Kenya before being launched.
However, the radio which is proudly precious to have cremé de la cremé media gurus; Captain Emmanuel Mwashumbe, dynamic duo Billy and Mbaruk, Evah Mwalili alias Mama Taifa, Geoffrey Mung’ou ( Sauti ya Simba) and Ali Hassan Mwana wa Ali (Amope), golden voiced Beatrice Maganga just to highlight but a few, has sent cold shivers to long standing media houses in Kenya before it’s launched.
As listeners warm up to listen to Radio 47, already signals have been installed in nearly all parts of the country.
