Ruto Appoints Ex-IG Boinett As Deputy National Security Adviser

President William Ruto has appointed Former Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinet as the Deputy National Security Advisor.

 

In a Gazette Notice Volume CXXV No.60, the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Felix Koskei confirmed that Boinnet was to serve in the role effective March 6.

 

“It is notified for the general information of the public that the National Security Council has appointed Joseph Boinnet to be the Deputy National Security Advisor,” the statement read in part.

 

Mr Boinnet will serve under National Security Advisor Ambassador Monica Juma.

Monica Is the Secretary of the National Security Council at the office of the president.
