Jua Cali Recounts How He Experienced Impromptu Diarrhoea During India Concert
Paul Julius Nunda, popularly known as Jua Cali recounted the season he experienced diarrhoea during a concert in India.
Speaking to his fans on Bare Sessions with Jua Cali at the National Museums of Kenya, the singer said he was invited by his African fans based in India to perform when he fell victim to impromptu diarrhoea stomachache and vomiting.
Jua Cali revealed that his diarrhoea, stomachache and vomiting were allegedly caused by the street food he consumed. He said that he had taken street sugarcane juice mixed with different flavours and some pilau.

“Have you ever vomited and diarrhoea at the same time? On my last day of performing in India, a friend advised me to explore some streets. During our exploration, we passed by a street vendor and bought sugarcane juice made of flavours that I hadn’t tasted before. It was so sweet. Thereafter, we snapped KFC and entered a Kiosk to take some pilau.” Jua Cali recounted.
The Old School music icon narrated that after the delicacy meal at the Kiosk, a different group of fans who had invited him held a special night party to make merry before leaving for Kenya. However, while at the party clearing heaps of food on the table, he made some changes in his stomach, which needed an urgent exit.
“ I started to experience stomachache and shortly after I left my seat for a long call, I got myself vomiting. However, I suspect it was because of the street food I had taken at the Kiosk. When you go to India, kindly eat at KFC,” he added.
