Man Sets Wife, Two Daughters On Fire Folllowing Domestic Row
A man,40, allegedly beat and set his wife and daughters on fire following a domestic quarrel.
The man identified as Sonnegowda who is a farmer from Hennur village is said to have always had frequent fights with his wife,37, over domestic rows as reported by his neighbours. On Monday, the heated quarrel took an ugly turn when he is said to have attacked the wife in front of her two daughters.
The young girls,11 and 9 years, ran to their mothers rescue but this never went well with their father who attacked them too. He would later set the trio on fire burning them to death as he remained writhing in pain.
Attempts by neighbours to rescue the three identified as Nethravathy(the mother), Sneha and Varsha, proved futile as it was too late since the bodies had already been charred to death.
The accused is currently recovering at Victoria hospital as police wait for his recovery to ascertain cause of the incident.
