Weezdom Says Bahati & Willy Paul Were Chased Away from the Gospel Industry

Weezdom, Kenya’s gospel artiste, has said Willy Paul and Bahati KE were chased away from the gospel music industry.
Speaking to Breakfast 47, the artiste revealed that he was Bahati’s manager when they left gospel and joined the secular industry.
Weezdom explained that he joined the secular music industry with Bahati since the Bible advises people to respect their leaders.

“I went with him(Bahati) because he was my leader, and even the Bible says that at any time, you respect power and submit with your whole heart, even if that thing is bad; those above you are the ones in a problem, not you.” He stated.
He revealed that during the reign of Groove Awards, some artists were advised to step down for others after wrongdoing, but when it came to Bahati and Willy Paul, they were chased away.
“When mnaamka as Groove Awards, the way it was big, a big artiste like Willy Paul, mnam-relegate eti hayupo kwa nominations, and he’s the one with hit songs in the country. Mnataka aende wapi?” He posed.

Previously, Bahati revealed on Mic Chuque Podcast that he left the gospel industry because it was full of hypocrisy. He claimed that many artistes were envious of one another and that most projects that were carried out, happened in ungodly ways.
“The hate and pretence were too much until you could know God can’t bless some things until we stop lies and using the name of Jesus anyhow,” Bahati said.
