Businessman Arrested For Sodomizing Two Boys

Police in Mbarara, western Uganda are holding a businessman for allegedly sexually assaulting two young boys aged 17 and 18.

The suspect Saturday Michael (34) resides in Kilemebe Cell Nyamityobora Ward, Mbarara District and according to Rwizi Regional Police spokesperson, Samson Kasasira, the victims were assaulted between January and February until one of them ran to police on the 6^th of February.

“Saturday employed them as hawkers of fresh pineapples in Mbarara City, he could accommodate them and also feed them. When they got to their accommodation, a single room which also housed six workers, he could force them into sexual intercourse which is against the order of nature,”he said.

Saturday is said to have shared the bed with the victims on different occasions. Currently, the 18 year old victim who reported the case has been checked by doctors at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital and according to medical reports, the anal area was found bruised.

The 17 year old who is taken as a witness is yet to be examined.

Kasasira further revealed that the suspect has been subjected to a medical examination to ascertain his mental state.
