Self acclaimed prophetess Justina Syokau, Jimmy Gait and Willy Paul have hit back at Eric Omondi over his allegations of the failed Kenyan gospel industry.
In a video footage circulating on social media, comedian Eric Omondi claim former gospel artists have failed Kenya and the industry at a large.
The comedian in the video, is seen calling upon; Willy Paul, Dk Kwenye Beat, Jimmy Gait, Bahati, Mercy Masika, Guardian Angel amongst many to return to the lord and serve Him genuinely.
” You have left God. You have the left ministry. You will never prosper. You will never succeed in life. Kenya as a nation is attached because of you” Omondi tells Kenyan gospel artists.
In response to Omondi’s sentiments, Madam Twendi Twendi hitmaker Justina Syokau has told Eric to leave the gospel industry and stop clout chasing.
“Eric is rotten. Na naomba Eric Omondi, ukitaka kutrend na views tafadhali, toa mdomo, toa umama kwa gospel industry.
“Ukiangalia Eric anavaa kama mama. Anavaa lipstick, angalia video ameweka leo. Mavazi yako si ya wanaume. Uko uchi kwa mtaa.
“Ata akifanya interview unamwonanga akiwa uchi. Hapaswi kusema gospel is rotten. Yeye ndo rotten. Eric is rotten.” Syokau bashes at Omondi.
Syokau the self acclaimed prophetess has claimed Eric is rotten and he is not supposed to utter anything about the gospel industry.
Willy Paul Msafi in response to Omondi’s sentiments, has vehemently claimed he left gospel industry and no longer a gospel artist.
” Eric, I am not a gospel musician so please address the right people. Get my name out of your mouth. You’re like an elder brother to me but place imefika unavuka mpakaa.We are all chasing that big bag bro. Focus on making yourself big again just like me” Willy Paul tells Omondi.
After Eric Omondi sharing the video clip on social media, they arose controversial opinions from social media users many appreciating Eric’s move to unearth the evils done by the artists in gospel industry.
Media personality Mama Taifa- Evah Mwalili sharing the video footage on her Facebook page, appreciated the move saying the artist have to return to the true gospel.

The president of comedy, Eric Omondi however hasn’t kept silent on the kickbacks from the artists. Yesterday, he shared on his Instagram page a pictorial of the artists captioned with a prayer.

” Lord, I pray that you may speak to these individuals personally. Before the devil attacked the church in Kenya, he attacked the Ministries of these brothers and sisters.

Jimmy Gait another victim of failed gospel artists has issued a defense mechanism to the public claiming Eric is unaware of what he’s doing and that, on Thursday, (him Jimmy Gait) will exclusively talk about the allegations meted on him by the comedian.
