Home » Friendzone: Man Sues Woman After Being Rejected

A man has filed a lawsuit to sue a woman for allegedly failing to date him and damaging his reputation.

Mr K. Kawshigan from Singapore became friends with Nora Tan in 2016 and when the rapport deepened, Kawshigan shot his shot in 2020 but taken as a normal friend.

According to court records, Kawshigan say Ms Tan told him to be self-reliance and put boundaries clear.

Kawshigan claim this damaged his reputation, causing mental stress and trauma because of the friend-zone.

According to him in court records, Kawshigan spent much on their friendships and had looked forward to transit into love relationship with Nora Tan.

Mr. Kawshigan after being hurt by the “boundary” sentiment, he threatened Ms Tan to file a lawsuit against her which later turned into a local talk to solve the situation.

The two went for counseling to get support but things didn’t go well as Nora started sending harassment texts which prompted Kawshigan to go for therapy.

Concerning the escalations, Kawshigan didn’t take it lightly but filed two lawsuits surrounding friend-zoning and the other, reputation damage and trauma to sue her for £2.6 Million.

However, the court rule states that Kawshigan’s lawsuits have been considered in totality and the action of friend-zone taken intentionally.

Considered in totality, I find that the present action was intentionally initiated by the claimant with the ulterior motive of vexing or oppressing the defendant by requiring her to defend various claims that fundamentally stem from the same factual matrix in different forums.

This court will not be an accessory to his calculated attempt to compel engagement from the defendant who, after years of massaging the claimant’s unhappiness, has finally decided to stand up to his threats rather than cower and give in to his demands” rules State Court deputy registrar Lewis Tan.

On the second lawsuit of “reputation damage and mental trauma”, the High Court has scheduled for pretrial hearings on 9th, February 2023.
