Six Teachers Arrested Over Engaging Pupils In Indecent Act
Six teachers from Itumbe Dok Primary School were on 1st February, 2023 arrested by Nyamache police officers over pupils’ indecent act in school.
In a circulating video on social media, the male pupils are seen engaging in indecent sex act as teachers are heard laughing at the act.
Under OB NO 11/01/02/2023 AT 1400HRS, Nyamache Sub-County Education Director Ms Linet Onduso say, on Wednesday at around 0900hrs she received a clip of pupils exposed to indecent act and upon inquiry, she discovered to have come from Itumbe Dok Primary School within Nyamache Sub-County.
By the help of the reporter, police officers from Nyamache Police Station established an investigation and discovered the clip originated from the school, Itumbe Dok Primary School.
However, upon the investigation, five female teachers and one male teacher were arrested and now in custody at Nyamache Police Station as investigations into the matter continue.
Confirming the arrest of the six teachers; Everline Moraa, Gladys Kenyanya, Moraa Nyairo, Cathrine Mokaya, Angelicia Joseph and William Isoka, Nyamache OCPD Kipkulei Kipkemboi said the incident happened at Itumbe Dok Primary School in Nyamache and the arrested teachers are now in custody waiting for charges and further investigations.
It’s alleged that the pupils were got privately engaging in the indecent act and thus the teacher exposed them into the lewd punishment of indecent act to perform publicly.
The trending video has raised different opinion from the public as many condoning the act as uncalled for. To many, the teacher who recorded the video lacked moral decorum as a professional personnel for it may cause mental trauma to the pupils captured in the indecent act.
