Nilikuwa vijijini ndipo nimetoa simu kwa charging so, message ya kwanza ilikuwa kwamba ooh, kila wakati wa Valentines hatujawahi kuwa pamoja, kila likizo so, mimi nimepata mtu nimeoleka.” Mukangai recounted.

The celebrated sports journalist also said he even approached a herbalist to help him regain his girlfriend, but all was in vain since she had married another man.

“Niliisha nguvu na baiskeli ikaanguka. Watu wangu singekula. Wakati huo ilikuwa after High School na bro nilikuwa mgonjwa literally. Niliona giza mbele yangu. Nilipambana mpaka nikamtafuta Mzee mmoja ambaye alikuwa anajua mambo ya kienyeji ajaribu ku reverse ikakataa.” He added.

Besides the heartbreak, he also recounted that another lady from Nairobi dumped him because he was broke. He said he asked for a fare every time he escorted her after their meetup.

Tulisukuma lakini ukimsindikiza anafaa kukusaidia nauli tena. Hapo aliangalia akaona maisha hapa. Hiyo niliachika in peace kwa sababu sikuwa na kitu.” He said.

However, Mukangai advised men and women to accept rejection after a breakup. He admitted that the Nairobi lady dumped him, and he accepted because he didn’t have money or a job.
