Imekuwa Ngumu: Shakib Shares Struggles of Trying to Have a Child With Zari Hassan

Shakib Chams has opened up to Diamond Platnumz about his struggles with Zari Hassan on having a child.

In the ongoing Netflix’s Young Famous & African season 3 series, Shakib revealed that he had planned with Zari Hassan to have a child but their journey encountered several challenges.

Shakib explained to Diamond Platnumz that even the natural way of getting a child with her had been fruitless; something which it’s cause was yet to be unveiled.

The Ugandan businessman added that after several failed attempts to get a child by natural means, he talked with her about surrogacy but she had yet to give him a clear opinion or answer.

“Zari and I had a plan of having a baby, and we’ve tried so many times in natural ways, but it seems we’re failing,” Shakib complained to Zari’s estranged husband, Diamond Platnumz.

“Then we talked about surrogacy and when I am going home, I’m still gonna talk about it and see what she’ll say.” He added.

Contrary to his wish, he complained about her secret plan to have a baby with her estranged husband. Shakib revealed that although he tried to have a child with her; she had secretly planned with Platnumz to have another baby.

“I felt disrespected at one time when you and Zari had a plan to have another baby together yet she was married to me. I request you to stop.” He complained.

However, the WCB-Wasafi boss explained that it was Zari who texted him and promised to get him a baby. Platnumz denied being the one who initiated the story.

“On Nillan’s birthday, Zari told me she wished to add another kid and I think it was by surrogacy. Trust me, my brother, I was not the one who said. It was Zari.” Platnumz responded.

Zari Hassan, 44, is married to Shakib Chams 32. The couple has been married for over two years and has yet to have a child.
