Wema Sepetu Reveals She’s No Longer Desperate of Having a Child
Actress Wema Sepetu has revealed that she’s content with a childless life. Speaking to Digital Journalists in Dodoma, Tanzania, she explained that she uses her money to help the needy.
Wema Sepetu said she had grown old enough and that the previous urge to get a child had depreciated. The actress stressed that her love for a child was replaced by her dog Manunu.
The actress also said she loves dogs because she grew up in an environment that had dogs. She revealed that her mother loved dogs and that made her promise to have them at her grown age.

“I love Manunu because I am a dog lover. I don’t love cats. I love Manunu and treat her like my kid … at this time, even if you say you’re wishing me the best to have a child, I am already 35 na sitegemei kwamba nitashika mimba tena. My season of wanting a baby has also passed, and I’ve given up.” She explained.
Wema Sepetu went ahead and said any man who wishes to marry her, should accept her and her flaws and be aware that she may not conceive a child.
“My husband must know I have a challenge. If he knows my challenges, then he will have to accept them because you can’t love a person and fail to accept her flaws.” Wema stated.

She admitted that she had accepted her situation of never getting the opportunity to conceive though it is still something that hurts her.
“Sometimes, I wish I could have my own child, someone I could carry, love, and cherish…but I have accepted the situation. .. nimemtaka kwa muda mrefu na Mwenyezi Mungu akaona kwamba labda sistahili… Zaidi ya yote, hamna kitu hutokea kwa bahati mbaya katika maisha ya mtu. Kila kitu huwa na sababu.” She admitted.
Further, the actress revealed that she doesn’t opt to adopt a child because some have been raised differently and their parents have different perspectives on parenting.
However, she said that despite being childless, she usually helps needy children in society, including orphans.
